About
Originally hailing from the heartland of Kansas, Meghan ventured to Illinois for college, where she earned a BA in music.
Post-graduation, she seized the opportunity to fulfill her lifelong dream of urban living and set her roots in Chicago, where she has immersed herself in city life for over two decades. Meghan’s transformative journey into the world of yoga commenced upon her arrival in the vibrant city, exploring various styles from Hatha to Flow. Amidst the challenges posed by the pandemic, Meghan found solace in yoga, utilizing the practice to navigate through depression, anxiety, and PMDD. Recently, her focus has shifted towards Restorative yoga and sound healing, incorporating these therapeutic elements into her personal practice. Meghan’s commitment to her yoga journey reached new heights when she earned her yoga teacher certification in Bali during the spring of 2023. This transformative experience allowed her the privilege of learning from a direct descendant of Hatha yoga, a Balinese priest, and a Native American healer. Additionally, Meghan has enriched her knowledge through workshops led by esteemed figures such as Judith Lasater and in the domain of sound healing facilitation. Her core belief centers around making yoga accessible to all, recognizing its pivotal role in assisting individuals in coping with the demands of modern life. Meghan draws from her diverse experiences to craft classes that are centered, flowing, and intuitive. Integrating meditation, pranayama, vinyasa, and the therapeutic vibrations of sound healing, Meghan’s students can anticipate leaving her classes with a profound sense of calm and inner peace.
