Mel's love of movement started in the dance studio as a child.
Over the years she's taught everything from step aerobics and group strength to Pilates and yoga. She completed her 500-hour training at the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy and is currently working toward an 800-hour designation as a Professional Yoga Therapist. She believes all movement has benefits, but yoga's whole-person focus on body, mind, breath, and spirit makes it a powerful force for healing. She loves sharing the practice with a focus on adaptive and therapeutic sequencing that honors each student's needs and goals. She believes that yoga has something for everyone and is privileged to share her love of this ancient practice with her community.
