About
I graduated from my 240-hour Yoga Teacher Training, RYT 200, in 2020.
I began teaching at Green Lotus in Annandale, MN in 2021 and then at Snap Fitness in Annandale as well as Annandale Community Education. I'm advancing my studies to complete my 500 teacher traning certification. I'm honored and humbled to find myself in this role, deepening mind-body-spirit connection for those in my classes (or in private appointments or events). I am also a CranioSacral Therapy Facilitator (Dynamic Body Balancing technique) and Reiki Master. I am also a certified retreat planner for group (of any nature) and wellness retreats (yoga, reiki, etc.). How did I get here? After I became a mother in 2004, I became very interested in how (emotional and/or physical) traumas impact us as humans. I was fascinated about how a baby is able to pick up the emotions of his/her mother (and vice versa) and how a calm and mindful parent does wonders for an entire household. This lead to my exploration mindfulness and self-care, beginning with some (much needed) internal-work of my own. I stumbled upon Dr. Carol Phillips' Dynamic Body Balancing (DBB) technique. This lead me to studying the DBB technique, and in 2010 after 100 hours of workshops, I became certified in the DBB technique. Curious to learn more, in 2019, I began my Reiki learning journey and decided to become a Reiki Master in February 2024.
