About

Greetings! Welcome to my bio! I began practicing yoga in 1997 by following along to a VHS tape in my living room.

As my body awareness improved and I began to notice how calm I felt, I started to practice yoga consistently by taking classes at a local studio. In 2010, I completed a 200-hour Teacher Training at UCSD and jumped into giving classes, eager to share my passion and knowledge with others. In 2012, I continued my education at Yoga One, completing another 200-hour Teacher Training. Recently in 2019, I finished the 300 hour Course with Amy Caldwell & Nam Chanterwynn at Yoga One becoming RYT 500 Certified! As a teacher, I pride myself on being warm and friendly. I like to ground students in an ongoing awareness of breath while guiding you through poses with clear directions, modelling, and hands-on adjustments. Gently spiritual in my approach, I provide a physical workout that students of all levels can easily modify. I am also the studio manager of Yoga One San Diego, so yoga gets to be my life as well as my passion. I can't wait to meet you! Missy DiDonato is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
