Melissa Grabiec began her Bikram Yoga practice in 2010, thinking that it would be an easy and fun workout.
Her first class was not easy – it was tough! Always up for a challenge, she continued to practice with determination striving to improve as much as possible while learning about herself and balancing her lifestyle. In her job as a pilot, she approaches stressful situations calmly. However, she soon realized that her practice elevated her ability to endure more and remain focused with greater awareness. She developed a desire to have a deeper understanding of the practice and set a goal to become an instructor in 2017. Now, she enthusiastically shares her love of the practice with others. As a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, of Bikram, Vinyasa and Yin for both beginner and intermediate levels, Melissa, in a positive and upbeat way, encourages students to be the best version of themselves and take their practice from the mat into their everyday lives.
