Melissa Nelson trained under Ganga White with White Lotus Foundation in 2007.
She's taught in many beautiful places around the world including Hawaii, California, western slope of Colorado and now calls, Grand Junction, Colorado home. Here in Colorado, Melissa has taken her passion for yoga to the next level by continuing to evolve her practice. In 2018 Melissa opened her own studio, Colorado Yoga House. In 2019, her studio held it's first and only (due to Covid) yoga festival in Oct 2019. In 2020 she sold her studio which is still going strong. She is Hatha, Yin and Yoga Trapeze certified and has led her first Yoga Teacher Training. What makes Melissa unique? She's also a professional skydiver of 30 years. She boasts 12,000+ skydives, 26 world records, has been an instructor since 2000 in 2024 has been re-elected to the United States Parachute Assoc Board of Directors for her 2nd term.
