in Dance, Reiki Practitioner Level 2 ⬗ 10+ years teaching movement ⬗ Specialty in Trauma Informed Yoga 〰 Hello! I’m Melody. My love for movement and its expressive capacities first drew me to dance, then to yoga. Initially, I approached yoga as a way to recover from years of wear and tear as a dancer and gymnast. However, over the past decade, it evolved beyond the physical into an intuitive practice for emotional, mental, and spiritual healing. Inspired by the transformative potential of movement, I have studied a variety of healing modalities, and hold a bachelor’s degree in dance as well as certifications in yin yoga, trauma-informed yoga, Ayurvedic yoga therapy, and Reiki Level 2. I am also training to become a licensed marriage and family therapist.
