___ At age 40, I injured my knee and had a minor procedure to correct it. However, the scar tissue continued to bother me even after completing the prescribed physical therapy. A friend introduced me to Bikram Yoga and within a couple weeks of a daily practice, all the discomfort was gone. And the rest is history. I now practice at the CorePower studio in Fort Worth and studios all over the world as I travel. I even select my Airbnbs based on proximity to a yoga studio. Going through teacher training at CorePower helped deepen my practice and my appreciation for the teachers I've practiced with over the years. Being a teacher is an opportunity to give back to the community that has meant so much to me and to share my love for the practice with new students.
