Michele Ainza is a Yoga Alliance certified 500 E-RYT and YACEP.
She is the director and lead instructor of Embodied Practice, a RYS 200 HR Teacher Training Program. In addition to her two decades of experience as a dedicated yoga practitioner, she has two graduate degrees, an MFA in Dance/Choreography from California Institute of the Arts and a Certification in Movement Analysis (Laban Movement Analysis and Bartenieff Fundamentals) from the Integrated Movement Studies program based out of the University of Utah. Michele has been a faculty member as a Professor and Director of Dance and Somatics throughout the Unites States and Mexico. Currently, she is an active educator and artist residing in Portland, Oregon. Michele seamlessly infuses her knowledge of movement awareness, creativity, and yoga philosophy into the classroom, instilling an individualized practice to each of her students. Her aim is to make yoga accessible to all, support self-awareness, build community bonds, and develop gratitude. Awards
