About
In the summer of 2008, she traveled to Baja Mexico to fulfill her 200 hours of yoga teacher training at the Yandara Yoga Institute.
While there for 30 consecutive days she immersed herself completely as she lived, breathed and ate all things yoga. There she studied Hatha yoga, Iyengar alignment, yoga theory and sutras, biomechanics, meditation, music, teaching techniques, adjustments, and so much more. She has been teaching ever since and became a E-RYT200! The pandemic proved difficult to maintain her in-person studio teaching (it was for everyone) but she returned to in-person teaching by the Summer of 2021, and now teaches private lessons and small groups for a few local not-for-profit organizations! Michelle Marie’s “nine-two-five” job as a New Jersey Real Estate Agent is often high stress, fast pace, and incredible demanding so she finds her bliss on her mat. She has a deep connection to yoga due to its restorative powers and its ability to relax a chatty mind and refresh a tired body. Knowing how stressful her work life can be and how beneficial yoga is to her quality of life, she wishes to provide a getaway to all those she instructs.
