About
I discovered Yoga approx.
2013. I was a runner and it was getting harder and harder to run every day without having so many aches and pains. I really noticed that my lack of flexibility and controlling my breath was really affecting my ability to run. I started just a couple days a week and soon it was replacing all other forms of exercise. In 2017, I decided to do Yoga Teacher Training. I originally was taking training just to deepen my own practice however as I continued to get more and more involved in my teacher training and also actually teaching a little I really enjoyed it. Shortly after graduating, I actually got a job teaching at an apartment complex 1 time a month and also picked up my first private client. As I started to teach more and more I enjoyed it more and more and the incredible reward I get from the people who take my classes. My mat-based classes focus more on a Vinyasa Flow, Hatha Yoga and Gentle Yoga depending on my clients needs. I also focus on The Yoga Trapeze which is a suspension yoga. The Yoga Trapeze helps increase upper body core strength even w/the most basic of movements such as getting in and out of the sling. It adds in the missing "pull" motion lacking in mat-based classes. It also allows you to hang upside down and get the benefits of that.
