Michelle Gausman, Born and raised in the Pennsylvania tri-state region.
Her early years were marked by a passion for movement and expression. She was immersed in the world of dance and ballet from early pre-teens, honing her skills and grace as a dancer with the Erie Civic Ballet Company. She began to love running in her teens and became an award-winning distance runner and triathlete. She exemplified dedication and perseverance, securing numerous victories and accolades in the competitive arena. The fusion of ballet, running, weight training, swimming, and biking kept her strong and injury free for duration of her performances and competitions. Michelle attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she studied sports medicine and dietetics. During this time she was part of the Girls Cross Country and Track team competing on the varsity team. She graduated with her B.A. Degree and internships with Veteran’s Hospital, Shriner’s Hospital, Children’s occupational therapy clinic, and Hand and Arthritis clinic. Michelle is well traveled spending time in Egypt, Greece, Venezuela, India, Austraila, the West Indies, Germany, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Mexico, Bolivia, Canada, Hawaii, and several states in United States. Traveling throughout the world has provided unparalleled opportunities for cultural immersion, personal growth, and unforgettable experiences that have broadened her perspectives and created lifelong memories. Michelle dedicated thirteen years of her life to shaping young minds in Broward County Schools. She served as middle school language arts teacher, track and cross country coach, and provided yoga and mindfulness practices for teachers and students. Her commitment to education and nurturing the next generation underscored her belief in the power of knowledge and mentorship. Parallel to her professional pursuits and travel, Michelle delved deep into the practice and teachings of yoga. She is a registered ERYT 500 with the Yoga Alliance. As a practitioner and teacher, Michelle embodies the ethos of balance, harmony, and self-realization. Her commitment to personal growth and healing extends beyond the physical realm, embracing the mind, body, and spirit in pursuit of holistic wellness. Today, Michelle continues to inspire and uplift others through her teachings, sharing her wealth of knowledge and experiences to guide others on their own paths of self-discovery and transformation. Whether on the yoga mat or the classroom of life, Michelle Gausman’s journey is a testament to the power of passion, perseverance, and the pursuit of purpose.
