Michelle Grassa Kozak, LCPC Yoga Alliance: E-RYT200, RYT500, YACEP Peaceful Waters Wellness and Yoga, LLC [email protected] Michelle is an educator and counselor serving the public school system for over 25 years. She began studying yoga in 2000, earned her 200 hour certification in 2002 and continued her study of Yoga at the Himalayan Institute completing her 500 hour certification. She then returned to academia to complete her Maryland State License as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. It was important to her to earn yoga credentials along with State Licensure to address the unique needs that each person brings to the mat. She practices yoga through the philosophy of Patanjali’s 8 Rungs of Yoga. She believes yoga is a lifelong practice of self-reflection and personal growth to bring kindness and positivity into the world..
