Michelle Peguero was born and raised in Southern California.
Michelle Peguero graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Pedagogy Option. Shortly thereafter, Michelle moved to Pennsylvania with her husband, 2000-2022. Michelle currently resides in Tucson, Arizona. Michelle has spent the last 25 years teaching gymnastics, basketball, tennis, swimming, and various forms of movement, including yoga. In 2011, Michelle developed a program called Kinastex, which includes whole body stretching, conditioning exercises (including pilates), and gymnastics and yoga skills. Creating Skilled Movers for Better Quality of Life. In 2014, Michelle had the opportunity to attend Yoga Journal Live! in NYC. In 2016, Michelle became a Reiki Practitioner. And in 2017, Michelle opened Bodhisattva Yoga--A healing and awakening arts studio. In the wake of the pandemic and her husband's retirement, Michelle closed Bodhisattva Yoga in 2021. After moving to Arizona, Michelle decided to complete a Yoga Teacher Training program and Register with Yoga Alliance, Fall of 2023. For this specifically, Michelle has 96 teaching hours. In general, over the past 25 years, Michelle has accumulated over 30,000 hours of teaching time.
