Her expertise in meditation and yin yoga creates a meditative quality that allows for connection and reflection while the body explores expansion and renewal.She has deepened her understanding of yoga philosophy and its medical benefits through study with Dr. Senthil Khumar (MD, PhD) in India, Dr. Subodh Simkhada in Nepal, and the Radiantly Alive Vinyasa Flow program in Bali with Daniel Aaron. Michelle also enhanced her knowledge of yoga anatomy and physiology through a yoga therapy course at Loyola Marymount University.Combining her passion for young people and yoga, Michelle has created a dynamic program for kids and teens that integrates discussion, reflection, and practice to help them manage stress and create clarity and focus. Her program draws on Yoga Ed workshops and years of classroom teaching experience.After many successful years living and working abroad in Ecuador, Bahrain, and Dubai, she now lives in Newbury Park, CA, with her husband, son, and two dogs. Her compassionate and approachable demeanor allows her to listen purposefully to each client and achieve excellent results.
