Yoga has been a part of Mickal’s life Since November of 2015, and his practice has helped him grow stronger, more flexible and more mindful, both on and off the mat.
Mickal completed his 200 hour teacher training in July of 2016, lead by Leah Cullis, a senior Baptiste Power Yoga Teacher and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. In August 2016 Mickal also completed teacher training for YOD, with founder and creator Danielle Jonkinen of Minnesota Power Yoga. Mickal also holds a certification as a Breath Coach and Yoga Trapeze from YogaBody with Lucas Rockwood. “I will always be a student of the practice and the wisdom and inspiration of my teachers will be a part of me forever” Mickal says. In his classes, he brings playfulness and laughter, music and movement, and a drop of inspiration to lift you up in your practice. Mickal seeks to convey joy and happiness through his classes, helping others step off their mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.
