Mina Vera is a transplanted Austinite, originally from Jamestown, Louisiana, now living in Pflugerville, Texas with her beloved Australian shepherds.
Having lived across the U.S.—including Louisiana, Texas, Pennsylvania, California, and Nevada—as well as Baja California, Mexico, Mina brings a deep appreciation for diversity, inclusion, and community into her work. She is the founder of Yoga ATX, a wellness brand rooted in joyful, accessible movement.Mina is an E-RYT-200, Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), certified personal trainer, and licensed Zumba instructor. She teaches yoga, strength training, aqua fitness, and dance-based cardio, blending mindful movement with functional fitness to support strength, mobility, and longevity. Mina has completed her 200-hour yoga training three times through Sunkissed Yoga Studios, Yogamu (India-based), and Bret Larkin’s Uplifted Yoga, and plans to complete her 300-hour training in 2026 on her path to RYT-500.Over the years, Mina has taught yoga and fitness across multiple states, online and in person, including studios, gyms, community spaces, and beaches. Whether leading a yoga flow, a strength session, or a high-energy Zumba class, Mina’s teaching is grounded in encouragement, connection, and helping people feel confident, capable, and strong in their bodies.
