Mira-Lisa Katz is RYT 500. She holds a a 500-hour certification from The Yoga Room Advanced Studies Program in Berkeley, CA, and a 200-hour certification from Nest Yoga in Oakland, CA. Influential teachers from Iyengar and Ashtanga traditions include Donald Moyer, Mary Lou Weprin, Gay White, Richard Rosen, John Smith, and Annie Carpenter. Mira offers classes in Carmel and Monterey, California, that integrate classical yoga with modern anatomy and mindfulness practices. Insightful verbal cueing, hands-on assists, and creative use of yoga props and tools support students of all ages and levels to work deeply and safely.
