Greetings! When I first practiced yoga roughly 13 years ago, I started for the physical benefits, but soon found the practice had so much more to offer.
I left those first few classes with a calmer and clearer state of mind, and I knew early on I wanted to share those benefits with others in the future. In 2021, I completed a 200 hour teacher training at Mind Body Haus in Memphis Tennessee in 2021, and subsequently a 100 hour meditation teacher certificate at the Yogamu Institute in 2022. As a yoga teacher I strive to guide students in finding a deeper connection to their physical bodies, and their inner worlds by integrating the subtle practices of yoga such as yogic breath-work (pranayama), and meditation into the physical practice. I primarily teach beginners, and find seeing students grow in their own practice very rewarding.
