About
The structure and discipline of Ashtanga Yoga grounded and and really lit a fire under what was only a casual yoga practice for me in 2007.
Since then every day and year has added more growth to my exploration of the physical aspects of yoga as well diving deeper into the mental and spiritual aspects as well. In recent years Iyengar style postures have been sharing in my time on the mat while remaining devoted to the synergistic joy of breath and movement. I received my 200RYT from Yoga East and am forever to grateful to my teacher Kimberly Dahlmann, as well as Nicki Doane and Eddie Modestini of Maya Yoga. I have also completed Kofi Busia's 110-hour training and continue to study with him whenever I can. Through teaching I hope to inspire the joy of breath and movement in yoga in my students as well as give them a firm ground from which to build their own practice and love for their bodies and minds.
