Coming from a personal trainer background Monique has worked with different types of people from athletes to those with injuries including herself to mature adults pre and post surgeries and injuries as well as beginners to those who are advanced She is a strength coach specializing in slow motion strength training previous kickboxing instructor and dancer Yoga was not the first option but came to her during her time in grad school She earned her masters degree in psychology and this later sparked her interest in the health and fitness world Becoming a personal trainer was gratifying but learning something is never ending and so is growth Learning about the human body emotional distress and mental capabilities allowed Monique to connect with her clients in a different way It is not just about the physical connection with the body she believes in connecting in other ways to fully improve our overall well-being Yoga has helped Monique in many ways and her goal is to provide sessions that are deeply meaningful to the individual and embodies personal empowerment and development.
