About

Naghmeh, began practicing yoga in 2004 at Niloufar School of Yoga and started teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa style in 2011 after she moved to Boston to peruse her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience.

She took Niloufar internal teacher training courses from 2006 to 2010. She also holds 200Hr Teacher Training certificates from Down Under School of Yoga in Boston and Hansa Yoga in New Zealand. she is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS). Over these years, Naghmeh has exploited the practice of yoga to seek self-knowledge and physical and mental well-being despite the challenges of everyday life. In her teaching, she incorporates both the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga. Through an emphasis on precise alignment, synchronization of breath with body movement and the energetic effects of postures, she guides her students through a joyful practice that invigorates their mind, body and spirit.
