Nan discovered yoga in 1997 and loved it from her very first class.

She immediately knew teaching yoga was in her future. She has been a Registered Yoga Teacher since 2005. She is an E-RYT 200, Level 1 Tantra Meditation Teacher, Level 2 Sound Healer, and a YACEP. Nan believes in providing creative, challenging and joy-infused classes and workshops for her students. She is passionate about teaching others, being active and enjoying each day. After a decade of traveling the US in an RV, Nan and her husband, Tom, have settled into a small community in Western Washington where she offers yoga classes and workshops. Nan has taught in gyms, yoga studios, community centers, on the beach and campgrounds. As the owner of Mountain Spirit Yoga, she started a successful yoga program in a small mountain community in California.She taught as often as possible while living life as a nomad. Her personal motto is "Live Inspired." She earned her BA in Health Studies and Physical Therapy from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology and Visual Communications from California State University, Chico. She continues to further her education in yoga through workshops and continuing ed classes.
