Let the ancient practice of yoga guide you as we begin an eight-week journey into yoga About Nancy Whitticase For more than years I have been deeply passionate about Yoga and Meditation This passion has led me to study various forms of Hatha Yoga Kundalini Yoga Ashtanga and meditation styles Meditation is my deep passion and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to enhance my practice which includes Yoga Buddhism Taoism and A Course in Miracles I draw on meditation techniques I have learned while on retreats with the Dalai Lama Thich Nhat Hanh Jack Kornfeild and -day silent Vipassana Meditation retreats I also learned from her teachings from modern teachers like Deepak Chopra Wayne Dyer and Ram Dass For the last two decades I enjoyed building and creating a wellness community in the heart of BC by opening Namaste Yoga & Wellness Center I taught weekly Yoga and meditation classes and organized yearly Meditation and Yoga Retreats Additionally I have had the opportunity to develop a -teacher course and be the lead instructor in several Yoga Teacher Training programs Now that I moved to New Brunswick Im offering yoga and meditation classes and sharing my years of experience with my new community My approach to yoga and meditation is to honour all aspects of its teachings both in my practice and in teaching others Yoga is more than just getting a good workout - its a deep and intimate practice involving philosophy breath meditation and posture I strive to preserve the ancient teachings of all eight limbs of yoga and bring a sense of modern lightness and fun to each class My ultimate goal is to help others achieve mental physical and spiritual fulfillment and to keep my community thriving Im excited to sit in my seat of passion for meditation and launch i-Meditate Community Meditation classes by donation in Hampton NB Healed people heal the world and I intend to help others activate the power of healing through these excellent ancient practices.
