Nicole’s journey into yoga and wellness was anything but perfect - she was admitted to an eating disorder treatment center in 2007 when she was close to taking her life. In the facility, there were structured eating plans and no opportunities for over cardio or over-exercising. Instead, there was yoga. Nicole didn’t fall in love with yoga and wellness right away. In fact, slowing down and listening tuning into her body proved very difficult. But ever so slowly the practice of listening to her body brought acceptance, trust, and connection. Nicole’s rocky start in yoga has helped her understand that everyone enters into yoga studios for different reasons; this reflects in both her teaching philosophy and the foundations of Honest Yoga. ✨ Honest Yoga - A yoga studio dedicated to building community on our mats.
