Nita became inspired to open Yoga Jai Ma wwwyogajaimacom in hopes of creating a studio where women men families and children could come together and practice yoga and meditation in a loving non-judgmental space Nita believes "Jai Ma" means to honor all women at all stages in their lives from maiden mother to elder -- and yoga is a wonderful way to celebrate the mind body and spirit at all stages Nita dedicates Jai Ma to the sisterhood of women her former co-workers and the women in her family especially her elders: mother mother in law and her grandmothers Nita E-RYT completed her Yoga Certification and Restorative Training at Akasha Yoga in La Jolla California She has studied principles of the Psoas with Liz Koch; is certified as a Reiki Master Usui Tibetan Reiki with Tenzin Lama Sherpa; and studied meditation at the Osho Nirvana Center in San Diego Her prenatal training was completed at Soul of Yoga in Encinitas California with Flossie Park She has also studied principles of Ayurveda with Mas Vidal.
