Nora discovered yoga in 2009, finding her practice to be one of self-care, reflection, and spirituality.
Physically, she felt healthy and strong. Emotionally, she felt grounded and taken care of. With a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, Nora sees many parallels between yoga and psychology. Yoga and meditation allow us to quiet and understand the mind and, in so doing, nurture the body and spirit.Five months into her practice, she took her first yoga teacher training (Power-Yoga Eight-Week, 200 Hour Teacher Training). Nora continued her education in the art of yoga through yogi training, extensions teacher training and a hot yoga training (Hot Yoga & Hot Power Fusion Eight-Week, 200 Hour Teacher Training). Nora cultivates a relaxing and healthy environment to practice in. She helps her students listen to their internal cues and develop their personal practice.
