About
Noreen Luptowski is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT200) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).------------------------------------------------------------------------------I’m a certified yoga instructor with an eclectic style of teaching basic hatha yoga.
I began my personal yoga practice in 1997 to compliment my existing martial art practice in Kempo karate. In 1998, I enrolled in a two-year teacher training program with the Cincinnati Yoga Teacher’s Association (CYTA). As an apprentice, I processed the organization’s incoming calls which ranged from basic inquiries about yoga, classes, the apprentice program and our local organization. I was also responsible for mailing their tri-state yoga teacher directory. In 1999, I began participating and was initiated into a Kriya Yoga mediation group. I also enrolled in a Tai Chi class (short yang style) at the White Willow School of Tai Chi. The same year, I began taking classes at the Cincinnati Yoga School and Bookstore, where I became their first employee, assisted the school’s owners with their daily business operations, and began teaching yoga classes. For the next few years, I continued to participate in classes and workshops that covered various yoga styles – Anusara, Ashtanga, Atma, Iyengar, Kripalu and Kriya. I also continued my practice in the martial arts of Kempo and Tai Chi. I integrated some of these core principles and began to develop my own eclectic style of practice. In 2000, I enrolled in the Atma Yoga national teacher training program. I successfully completed both yoga teacher training programs, receiving my Atma Yoga national teacher certification on August 26, 2001, followed by my yoga instructor certification on October 13, 2001 from the Cincinnati Yoga Teachers Association (CYTA). In 2002, I earned a Level 1 certification in Tai Chi. In 2003, I became a registered yoga instructor with the Yoga Alliance, the first national yoga teacher organization. I continued my martial art practice in Kempo karate and in 2008 earned a 3rd degree brown belt. In February 2022, I earned the E-RYT200 designation with Yoga Alliance and remain a member/registered instructor with CYTA and Yoga Alliance. I continue to teach yoga classes and have provided my teaching history below:2015 to 2018 - Corporate Classes: Kroger Technology Center - Blue Ash2003 to Present – Blue Ash Recreation Center2003 – Springdale Recreation Center2001 to 2003 – City of Montgomery Recreational Department1999 to 2003 – Cincinnati Yoga School and Bookstore1999 to 2000 – White Willow School of Tai Chi 1999 – Loveland YMCAI continue to participate in classes and workshops that comply with the continuing education requirements developed by the Yoga Alliance.
