About
Oksana Aston is E-RYT 500 has been teaching yoga since 2015 at various studios in Denham Springs, New Orleans, and Baton Rouge.
She first experienced a holistic power of yoga through taking a course of the Art of living foundation on Sudarshan Kriya in 1999 after surviving Nyamiha stampede in Minsk, Belarus. Since she discovered the profound impact of mindful breathing on her mind and body, her interest and love for yoga never ceases. A dedicated Ashtanga practitioner, she also incorporates Vinyasa Flow, Meditation, Restorative, and Yin yoga into her personal practice. With over 1,000 hours of in-depth training under renowned Ashtanga teachers like Melanie Fawer, Tim Feldman, and Kino MacGregor, and many others, she also holds certifications in Vinyasa flow, Restorative and Yin yoga. Esteemed teachers like Chase Bossart, Edwin Bryant, Swami Chidananda, and Dr. M.A. Jayashree have laid the philosophical foundation for Oksana's yogic journey. This deep understanding of yogic principles informs her teaching style and further emphasizes her commitment to creating a space for holistic growth and personal exploration. In her classes, she prioritizes body awareness and creates a judgment-free space for students to explore and develop their practice in a way that feels best for them. Join Oksana in her next class and discover the joy of movement, mindfulness, and deep connection.
