Olga Laporte

She is a dedicated student of yoga with a passion for sharing yogic  wisdom. Her teachings are grounded in the Ashtanga Vinyasa system, the Kriya Yoga tradition and  the practice of  higher limbs.  Originally from Russia, Olga began her yoga practice in her early twenties. She discovered yogic discipline to be the pathway for internal growth and greater awareness as she began to further  deepen her study and practice of the higher limbs of yoga.   Olga has studied with many wonderful teachers and has made multiple trips overseas to India, Japan and Indonesia to practice and study with various master teachers. She has practiced and studied the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa system, kriya, pranayama and meditation. In addition to her spiritual studies of yogic scripture, history and philosophy, she has studied Reiki and the teachings of the Kriya Yoga tradition. She has been ordained as a swami in the Kriya Yoga lineage in 2014 through the Temple of Kriya Yoga.    Olga’s personal practice and teaching are grounded in the Ashtanga Vinyasa system as well as the Eight Limb Path of Classical Yoga and the Kriya Yoga tradition. In addition to public and private classes, Olga offers various workshops, programs, teacher trainings and lecture seminars. She often teaches various modules of teacher training programs at different studios.   Olga is also a Master Reiki Practitioner and Teacher. She uses Reiki along with other modalities to provide an individual experience which best suits each person’s physical, energetic and spiritual needs. She incorporates spiritual guidance into the sessions and also provides yogic guidance to those seeking direction on their yoga path. Olga teaches Reiki workshops, trainings and also does individual mentoring.   Olga is a spiritual seeker and a student of life.
