My yoga practice started in high school in 2008 after a sports-related knee injury.
I found that yoga was more meaningful to me than soccer, and I began to do yoga as my primary form of exercise. In college, I led yoga classes for my peers, but I craved a deeper understanding of yoga beyond the physical postures. My curiosity led me to begin my exploration of the other limbs of Ashtanga yoga. I established my daily practice of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga in 2015 and completed my 200 hour teacher training in Mysore, India in January 2016. I continue to learn and live and grow in my practice daily.
