Anna Pachon-Brater is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School RYS I began my yogic journey about decades ago in San Francisco I started exploring yoga classes in San Francisco in After taking a yoga class from my first yoga teacher Bette Roi I fell in love with the practice of yoga I took many yoga classes in the bay area leaning many different styles of yoga I decided to pursue the teacher training at the Iyengar Institure of San Francisco Here I was able to study asana practice and instruction through the Iyengar technique I also studied pranayama anantomy philosophy and principles of auyervedic medicine I am very blessed to have studied with many fantastic teachers such as Rodney Yee Janet MacLeod Judith Laseter and Ramanand Patel  My yoga practice became much more personal after the birth of my two children Yoga allowed me to have a truly wonderful birthing experience with both of my children My yoga practice has been an integral part of my interpersonal journey of healing and wellness from past trauma Further as an elementary school teacher for over years I have been able to teach my students yoga over many years so they can experience the gift of peace and serentity that yoga affords  Over the past decade I have expanded my practice to include Kundalini yoga and paddleboard yoga I have studied and taught yoga on a paddleboard with Lori Jones thoughout the San Diego Bay  In I was able to  take a hour certification course through Online Yoga School and become a certified yoga teacher This program continues to extend my learning of yoga teaching with topics such as chair yoga retorative and yin yoga I look forward to the next decade of teaching and learning with my practice of yoga as it continues in my life to be the gift that keeps on giving!.
