Pam was first introduced to yoga as a child by her Aunt Marti who brought the teachings back from her travels to India.
However she didn't fully immerse herself in yoga until 2007 when she found a practice that balanced her life. She signed up for the teacher training at her favorite studio, Namaspa in 2010, became a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) in 2011. She has been teaching in the Baptiste tradition ever since. In 2012 a serious car accident temporarily prevented her from being able to practice the Baptiste flow, but opened up a new door to the world of what yoga can do for injuries. Now, in addition to working on her Baptiste certification, Pam studies and teaches viniyoga and teaches the yoga sūtra-s in the tradition of TKV Desikachar. In addition to her studio classes at Namaspa, she sees private students one-on-one. Outside the yoga world Pam is an environmental attorney with the Western Environmental Law Center. She also loves hiking, whitewater rafting, cross country skiing, and homemade music around the campfire with friends and family.
