About

Pamela Gooria is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT® 500) with Yoga Alliance.

Pamela's teachings are based on the ancient traditions of yoga and meditation that she received under the guidance of her teacher, world renowned spiritual master Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. She is also certified in Ashtanga Yoga, Sivananda Yoga, Yin Yoga, Kids Yoga and Prenatal Yoga. Pamela has launched and co-owns 3 yoga studios in Montreal since 2012. Over the years, Pamela has been involved in numerous service projects with the Art of Living Foundation. She is also the founder of McGill University's first Yoga Club, providing students with yoga and stress reduction techniques. For many years, Pamela ran Montreal’s first weekly vegetarian and vegan cooking classes, building community and inspiring hundreds of people to make healthier food choices. Pamela, a former robotics engineer, left her corporate career in 2010 to share her lifelong passion for yoga with everyone. In 2015, Pamela accomplished a personal challenge of eliminating her myopia simply by practicing eye yoga daily for one year.
