About
Pamela Joy Howse E-RYT 200, has been teaching yoga at Halcyon Hot Springs Resort, Central Kootenays, BC, for the past few years, hailing from the East Kootenays, BC, where she spent over 20 years offering yoga classes to her community.
Her favorite place to teach yoga is on a stand-up paddleboard or out in nature. Pamela is also a Life Coach specializing in Mindfulness, which is perfect for those struggling with anxiety or needing to create space to center themselves and focus on recharging. She has many years of experience teaching various styles of yoga such as yin yoga, restorative yoga, PiYo, Barre, yoga sculpt and hatha yoga and working with people of all ages and stages of life such as during pregnancy. That’s what made her pick up her first book about yoga, which was when she was expecting a baby 26 years ago, to learn how to enhance a healthy flow of lifeforce, influence a positive mindset, and make room for the growth and healthy delivery of the baby. After her little bundle of joy arrived, she enjoyed getting to the studio for that sense of community and connection outside of the home of being a busy mom. Not long after participating in her first few yoga programs, she took her first yoga teacher training.Pamela is a registered yoga teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of yoga teacher training with a registered yoga school.
