Pamela Ocana, M.A., is an experienced Yoga Educator and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS), Continued Education Provider, and Yoga Teacher Trainer through her program: Yoga For The Living Arts.
Pamela is currently a Professor at Valencia College, where she teaches Yoga (within the framework of Raja Yoga Philosophy), Yoga Psychology, infusing her courses with Yoga inspired humanities; she also teaches Meditation practices from the yogic and buddhist traditions. Pamela grew up in Japan where the stillness of Zen left a deep imprint in her heart. Her classes are taught in silence, gently guiding the students to reconnect within themselves at a deeper level, harmonizing body, mind, breath and emotions. She teaches the following on line classes through Zoom: Meditation, Chair Yoga, Gentle & Restorative, as well as specialty workshops, and private classes for students with special needs, as well as corporate meetings. She'll gladly guide your practice in English & Spanish, and if needed, German or French. Namaste.
