About
Pam Ronstadt is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Namaste. My name is Pamela Ronstadt. I am a wife (to my beast, as I playfully refer to my love), a mother of four incredible grown men and a grandmother (grams) to a couple of amazing and joyful beings. I am also a yoga teacher, student, lover of history and philosophy and would consider myself to be a practicing yogini, striving to walk the 8-limbed path. For over a decade, I have been teaching in studios and privately as well as leading trainings and retreats to various locales on this amazing plant. I am an E-RYT 500, YACEP (Continuing Education Provider) and TIYT (Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher) and have logged over 12,000 hours of teaching. I offer 200- and 300-hour level yoga alliance accredited certifications through the Radiant Spirit School of Yoga as well as serving on faculty around the globe. I specialize in helping yoga teachers with continuing education and exploring yoga in it’s depth and diversity. I often travel to bring trainings around the world as well as bringing those trainings to you, in your own space. When I was 33 years old, my body was recognized to have Young Onset Parkinson’s and for years I watched as YOPD took over my body and spirit. An off remark from my then neurologist about a recent study on how yoga was found to be helpful for those struggling with YOPD led me onto my path just after my 40th birthday. Within a short amount of time, my body began to respond, and I was able, within just a couple of years, to use the practice-along with other lifestyle choices, to manage the YOPD without the need for traditional western healthcare. The miraculous nature of the practice called me to my first teacher training in 2009 and that desire to serve others and introduce people to the practice and it’s holistic nature has kept me teaching and learning ever since. A forever student and lover of this remarkable practice we call yoga means that you will often find me with my nose buried in a text or struggling to translate a sutra from Sanskrit into English. My classes and trainings are a reflection, in many ways, of my life. Yoga is, for me, not only a practice on the mat but off the mat as well. I love to teach and practice a variety of asana styles, including flow, hatha, yin and gentle. My approach to the practice is one of compassion, love, curiosity, humor and reflection. I am currently undertaking a 1000 hour training in yogic philosophy and history. I look forward to sharing this ever expanding practice with you. I like to believe that I am a spiritual being having an abundantly human life. My hope and goal is to help you discover your own spirit and abundance that already exists within. In light, Pam
