Patricia Patterson, PhD, ERYT-500, RCYT, YACEPEcoSoma Yoga Practitioner · EcoSomatic Facilitator · Yoga EducatorMotto: EveryBody, EveryDayPatricia Patterson is an ERYT-500, RCYT, and YACEP-recognized yoga educator whose work integrates yoga, somatic awareness, and ecological relationship-building into a unified practice called EcoSoma Yoga—a yoga of Earth-Body integration.
With more than two decades of interdisciplinary teaching across expressive arts, ecopsychology, community ecology, and seasonal embodiment, Patricia guides learners toward grounded awareness, nervous system coherence, and a renewed sense of belonging to the living world. Her EcoSomatic approach weaves somatic intelligence, adaptive movement, restorative and Yin-inspired practices, seasonal physiology, sensory literacy, and eco-attunement into traditional yogic foundations. Rooted in interoception, slow time, trauma-informed methodology, and Earth-centered presence, Patricia’s teaching honors the body and the environment as interconnected systems capable of mutual regulation and resilience.Patricia brings extensive training hours across all four Yoga Alliance educational disciplines—Techniques & Practice, Anatomy & Physiology, Yoga Humanities, and Teaching Methodology—and holds additional specialization in adaptive yoga, restorative practices, Yin-focused work, and children’s yoga. Her motto, “EveryBody, EveryDay,” reflects her commitment to accessible practice for diverse bodies, ages, identities, and learning styles.Through classes, seasonal workshops, mentoring, and continuing education courses, Patricia supports yoga teachers, educators, and creative practitioners in integrating somatic practice with ecological understanding, cultivating Earth-Body coherence as a pathway to personal well-being and collective ecological care.
