Paty found a passion for yoga and the grounding and focus it gave her as she finished her graduate studies over 8 years ago.
In 2023, she received her 200hr Yoga Teacher Certification from Movicorpo® in Mexico with the goal of sharing this beautiful mind-body practice with others. Upon graduation, she was invited to join the Movicorpo® team as a yoga instructor and currently teaches on the Movicorpo® Online Movement Academy platform. Her yoga teaching methodology has its origins in her experience as a dancer and choreographer emphasizing somatic awareness, functional anatomy, and creativity of movement. She facilitates safe and inclusive environments for all kinds of bodies and ranges of experience through guided cues and diverse options that make the full benefit of poses accessible. Paty Lorena Solórzano is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
