Paula Castillo is a mama, bilingual yoga teacher, and executive coach and facilitator based in Washington, DC. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Paula discovered meditation at age twelve thanks to a middle-school chemistry teacher—an experience that sparked a lifelong exploration of presence, the mind–body connection, and the science of wellbeing. Before dedicating her work fully to coaching and yoga, Paula spent more than fifteen years in corporate strategy and international consulting, advising Fortune 500 companies and development banks on leadership and performance. A period of burnout became a turning point, leading her to study the neuroscience of stress and the ways contemplative practice restores clarity, balance, and connection.Paula is a Kripalu-Certified Restorative Yoga Teacher, Relax and Renew® Level 1 Teacher (trained by Judith Hanson Lasater), and iRest® Yoga Nidrā Level 1 Teacher. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University and is currently completing a 200-hour Sound Therapy Practitioner Certification through the International Sound Therapy Association (ISTA).Through restorative yoga, iRest® Yoga Nidrā, mindfulness, breathwork, and sound, Paula helps leaders, professionals, and teams cultivate presence, resilience, and grounded clarity—bridging evidence-based insight with embodied awareness to create sustainable wellbeing.
