About
I "discovered" yoga in 2000 and credit my practice for laying the foundation of a healthy life.
Before I moved to Virginia Beach and and began the path of yoga, I earned a Masters of Natural Resources and studied the interconnectedness of all living things and the environment. In a way, I continue this study through yoga. What speaks to me on a daily basis is the collectivity of the practice. I feel that people are not separate from nature, our minds are not separate from our bodies and spirits, nor are we separate from one another. This understanding fuels my passion for yoga and my desire to share it. I completed my 200 hr certification with International Yoga Institute in 2010. I completed my 300 hr certification with Yax Yoga Concepts in 2014. Additionally, I completed a second 300 hour training with National Yoga Academy in 2017. "We are responsible for what we create, and we must therefore learn to act and think with love and wisdom and to live in service to others and all of life." - Caroline Myss
