About
Greetings Beloved's I've been teaching Yoga since 2007; Hatha, Flow, Basics, Restorative, and Yin, Yoga for Heathy aging 55+ as well as Yang Style Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Nia Dance Technique.
I have ongoing classes at Woodstock Community Center, East Portland Community Center and Shabu Studios in Portland Oregon. I also teach Poi to grades k-8th. I have experience working with ages 2-92, all levels, all body types and all abilities. In large and small groups on site, private single or couples classes. I've worked in private studios, schools, community centers, corporate gyms and one on one at home and on zoom. Yoga found me in a midst of an injury. In my early 20's I tore my arch and my groin in Kung-Fu practice, my Sifu suggested I try yoga. I began studying with Heidi Lichte in Phoenix AZ. I continued to cross train in Kung fu and Yoga, of various styles and with various teachers for many years. in 2006 I completed by 200-hr training with the Yandara Yoga institute In 2015 I started training with Judith Hansen Lasater in the Restorative style of yoga, and became a Restorative Teacher Trainer and remained an assistant for many trainings with her from 2016-2020. Restorative truly is a hidden gem that is one of my absolute favorite styles of yoga to practice and share. Contact me for weekly classes, workshops, trainings and retreats. I look forward to sharing my practice with you. Namaste, Piper
