Rachel Gray is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School RYS I began my yoga journey in and felt instantly drawn to learn more! Upon graduating with honors in from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Health Science degree in Pre-Physical Therapy I transitioned to work in therapeutic pre-natal massage new mother and breastfeeding support as a doula and in the autism community In my yoga practice aided my recovery from a traumatic brain injury and I knew that I wanted to pursue a teaching certification Yoga quickly became a fundamental part of my life As I began to deepen my practice I found not only the physical benefits strength and balance of yoga but a renewed sense of spiritual wholeness too I am a passionate and inclusive teacher committed to sharing my knowledge with students in every stage of life I love to incorporate the use of props into my classes making the practice accessible for all ages abilities and bodies I am continuing my yoga education to explore the use of sound bowls essential oils and other sensorial elements in my teaching and I am also Chair Yoga certified! My love of percussion founds my belief in the transformative power of sound and music in meditative practice You might see me around town as an active participant in several organizations that support local musicians artists and inclusive music education I also work as a professional organizer and enjoy writing poetry.
