"We are very good at preparing to live but not very good at living We know how to sacrifice ten years for a diploma and we are willing to work very hard to get a job a car a house and so on But we have difficulty remembering that we are alive in the present moment the only moment there is for us to be alive" - Thich Nhat Hanh  My first experience with yoga was the asana practice at a gym in Arkansas and that is where it stayed for a few years ebbing in and out of my life as primarily a physical practice Then in I came to my mat during a time of great emotional and physical need  My practice helped me remember myself – and to return to my body and breath  Learning at Blue Yoga Nyla granted me the experience of a deeper understanding of yoga and enticed me to follow this path deeper while I had no idea where it may lead  Im overjoyed to share the knowledge that I have gained from all my teachers Stacey Faught & Matt and Holly Krepps I feel immensely grateful for the opportunity to witness the journey of my students and to get to go along on the ride learning even more from them I have a relaxed teaching approach and fully believe that yoga is a celebration of mind body and spirit My teaching is heavily focused on linking your breath to your movement self-inquiry and returning to your body as a place of comfort and strength Krishnamacharya once said: “If you can breathe you can do yoga”  In September I completed my hr Yoga Teacher Training with Matt and Holly Krepps at Circle Yoga Shala Im a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance.
