About
Rachel Rinker is a Registered 200-hour Yoga Teacher (RYT200) with Yoga Alliance and has a passion for creative movement, personal growth and transformation which she continues to foster as a BUTI MVMNT Master Trainee.
My yoga career began in 2018 following my own unique journey of self-discovery and exploration due to a breast cancer diagnosis in late 2017 at age 33. On a mission to uncover a more organic means of healing, I was introduced to BUTI MVMNT in late 2018 following recommendations from my Integrative Medicine Oncologist who requested I begin yoga, movement, and mindfulness techniques to help reduce stress experienced in my daily routine. Buti was unlike all other forms of yoga-movement I had tried, fusing a high energy, beat driven class format which included traditional yoga asanas, breath, primal movement, cardio intensive bursts, static shaking & vibration, plus strength & conditioning into one kick-ass class format. Feeling something like I never had before in just my second class, I yearned to understand what we tapped into to make me feel this way. "It was a connection to a deeper sense of self (one I didn't even know existed) where all the sudden I felt my spirit (source) ignite from within." Being unable to understand or explain what I was experiencing, I decided to embark on my 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2019 with Buti, and further completed continued education and is certified across all Buti class formats including Buti, Deep, Primal Flow, Sculpt, Buti Bands, and HotCore. My love for teaching and guiding students on their path for health and wellbeing has only continued to blossom since completing my training. I am on an evolving journey for knowledge and experience, as I challenge myself to create mindful, anatomically intentional, beat driven, intuitive sequences which empower and awaken a deeper source within. "It is an unexplainable feeling that happens when the mind lets go and your body and spirit are able feel safe and balanced on your mat. This internal experience where we're empowered to turn inward not only helps us reconnect to our body but further supports the release of emotional baggage while tapping into and letting go of past trauma." It is in this safe container where we become our most authentic selves and can move, create, and transform from the inside out. "Buti has enabled me with the deepest of healing, a sense of identity, and to truly discover what is most important in my life - now it’s my purpose to help everyBODY experience the same. Come step into my world of Somatic Movement and watch as your mind, body, and spirit transform and thrive from within."
