Rebecca Fronberg received her bachelor degree in Health Education from the University of Utah in 1991.
She went on to obtain her national certification as a Health Education Specialist (CHES). She retired from her work in public health after 30 years of working in areas ranging from air quality, communicative disorders, tobacco, HIV/AIDS and physical activity and nutrition. Rebecca is married with six adult children, three girls and three boys, and two grandsons. In her spare time she enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, reading a variety of books, and spending time outdoors gardening and taking long walks. Rebecca is an ERYT-200, and RYT-500 and has been teaching yoga since 2006. She has taught classes at the employee owned fitness centers located at the health department and the multi-state agency office building, as well as a community class at her church, adult community education through Clearfield High School and Relaxation Fitness yoga studio in Davis County. Rebecca currently offers pre-recorded online classes to a worldwide audience. She is passionate about yoga philosophy including physical (Chakra System) and spiritual (Yama and Niyamas) teachings and practices. Her passion for yoga has led her to study many teachings including Buddhism, energy work and guided visualization which she incorporates into her teaching and practice. Yoga’s effect on the brain and prevention of various health conditions make it the ideal practice for everyone. Yoga students can expect to find variety, new techniques and the standards of breath awareness, balance, strength and flexibility in her classes.
