Regina DiCharia is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS). Regina Dicharia started taking yoga in 2007 .
She loved her practice so much wanted to share her yoga with others .She completed her teacher training with The Sanctuary Yoga Teacher Training program with Melissa Montilla in April of 2013. The Sanctuary's program is firmly rooted in the teaching styles of Ashtanga and Iyengar, with an additional emphasis on the balancing practices of Restorative and Yin Yoga. We like to call this style Yoga Practice. It is simply a way to teach people the practice that can support health and happiness in the rest of their lives. In the process of learning to teach, each teacher training student has been encouraged to develop a deep understanding and respect for the human body and spirit, as well as learning intuitive ways to help themselves and their students’ progress. Regina has received a certification in Curvy Yoga with Anna Guest-Jelly. A practice for yoga students of all shapes and sizes who want a body affirming practice that supports them in exploring what body acceptance means to them.
