Rewa has been working with students in the fitness and wellness arena for years and has had the pleasure of working with a variety of students; athletes kids sports teams couples Active duty military elderly pre/postnatal and students recovering from injury or surgery She has always incorporated mindful movement into her work even as a personal trainer and found it brought about deeper connection and growth for her students  Rewa moved to Okinawa Japan in and her teaching focus has been on yoga since then She has been teaching in classroom settings schools private sessions and has been part of the faculty for Rebecca Cohen Yoga hour TT since in Okinawa Japan  Rewa started her own Yoga school in and continues to teach workshops Rewa first came to yoga while recovering from injury Through her practice she was able to find steadiness strength compassion and balance in life and towards her selfShe received her hour teacher training in Power Vinyasa Yoga in   Rewa believes that Yoga is a life study and considers herself always a student She completed additional studies in Yin Yoga SUP Yoga Restorative Yoga and has started her journey of study of ParaYoga Rewa draws her inspiration from her own practice her students nature and her children  Other strong influences are from teachers such as Rod Stryker Paul Grilly and Tayna Steward Rewa believes that having a consistent personal practice is essential to finding balance and insight Her practice varies from a strong vinyasa to yin each day allowing for meditation and reflection has brought the most personal growth The power of being present in the practice is transformational in every aspect of life Then from this place one can offer the gift of being a yoga instructor Rewas style of teaching is strongly breath centered practice that blends Vinyasa flow and Hatha and is laced with philosophy and nature She enjoys adding a bit of playfulness to each practice and encourages students to find space to laugh Most classes are between - in duration Combining the deep body awareness asana practice with pranayama bandha and meditation to awaken our awareness of both the physical and subtle body  Her passion as a teacher is to guide you through a practice in way that facilitates an embodied experience that truly makes the practice your own Encouraging you to be present explore your edge meet challenges and celebrate the stillness and “AHH HAA” moments.
