A California native, Rhonna came to NewJersey for college to study music education at Westminster Choir College in Princeton.
After meeting her husband and settling down with their German Shepherd Finnegan (and eventually Ava) Rhonna began practicing yoga as recreational exercise. After a short time studio hopping, Rhonna made her way to YogaStream under the instruction of Lara Heimann. It was here that Rhonna found her yoga-home; a practice grounded in functional movement and alignment principles as well as a compassionate community that truly embodies every facet of YOGA. After two and a half years of practicing, Rhonna completed her 200 hour with Lara Heimann at YogaStream and looks forward to start her YOGA teaching in the Winter of 2014 while still teaching Elementary Music full time.
