October to March were spent on a personal sadhana retreat at the Himalayan Institute campus in Khajuraho India In February I participated in a two week Advanced Sri Sukta recitation Practice under the Spiritual Head of The Himalayan Institute Pandit Rajmani Tigunait along with other advanced students       Upon returning to the USA early in March the COVID- pandemic and life changes closed my Sri Yoga Studio is Athens OH As a C-IAYT I taught Yoga Therapy on Zoom  until  I returned to live in a residential program at The Himalayan Institute     In May of I completed my certification to teach Vishoka Meditation through the Himalayan Institute         My meditation hatha and  pranayama study began with the Himalayan Institute just after college where I lived for years the first time Along the way I added a license in Social Work now emeritus  Yoga Alliance YACEP and E-RYT- Certifications as Yoga Therapist C-IAYT I am a classical homeopath from the Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy in MN and maintain my Classical Homeopathic Certification CHC with the Council of Classical Homeopathy  I started teaching hatha yoga  over years ago and I just cant stop!  I had my own studio the Sri Yoga Studio of Athens until October where I taught  a long standing evening meditation lectures on yoga philosophy group haha yoga classes restorative stretching and  yoga postures for bone health until   Since my real love has been working in private sessions in help prepare students for surgery or are post surgery are living with PTSD or need a tailor made yoga practice for some aspect of their physical and emotional well being  I taught  teach Restorative Yoga and meditation twice a week at Ohio University in their Wellness Program called Risk Reduction for about years  My passion is to serve our Veterans and work with PTSD related trauma from all walks of life  I believe there is JOY to be found in all of us      I love public speaking about all forms and uses of yoga philosophy and practice  I believe Vishoka Meditation has an accessable set of tool for total health and I look forward to teaching it to the post Covid- world so hungry for deeper connections with self and others.
